Get Ready for Giving Tuesday! Keep the WV Bar Foundation in mind when gifting to your favorite charities this holiday season. The WV Bar Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and your contribution may be tax-deductible.
We provide grants to organizations around the state to improve the administration of justice. The most recent grants include $5,000 to Child Protect of Mercer County to fund its digital evidence management software, $5,000 to Davis Stuart to create a debate team for its youths, $3,500 to Public Defender Services to create and distribute an informational brochure, and $30,000 to ChildLaw Services for its Opioid Epidemic Fellowship for Kids. Our three signature events during the year include the WV Bar Foundation Fellows Dinner, Lawyer Leadership Institute, and Lunch & Laughs with a Legal Legend.
