Andy’s professional accomplishments are matched by his deep commitment to public service. He has served on both the South Charleston and Charleston City Councils, as Vice-Chair of the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, and as Chair of the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta. He has also remained actively involved in supporting academic and athletic initiatives at West Virginia University, his undergraduate and law school alma mater.
Today, Andy’s work focuses on estate planning, Medicare-related insurance products, consulting, and publishing—recently adding “author” to his résumé with the publication of his first children’s book.
Andy will officially assume the role of Executive Director on July 1, 2026, and will begin transitioning into the role in the coming weeks, working closely with current leadership to ensure continuity and a seamless handoff.
Andy and his family, including his two sons and two grandchildren, remain rooted in West Virginia. We are excited for the leadership, perspective, and energy he will bring to the Foundation and look forward to this next chapter under his guidance.
